Macquarium is an Atlanta based Human Centered Design agency. Our team of passionate dreamers, thinkers, and doers create digital experiences that make customers’ lives easier. Over the past 25 years, we have partnered with Fortune 250 companies to create differentiated web, mobile, e-commerce and in-store self-service experiences. We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development executive to join our team.
The successful candidate has experience selling digital product design and marketing services. They are well networked and have a proven track record of generating new business through effective marketing and prospecting techniques. This hunter role will identify and engage prospects through a consultative sales approach and works with our team to present customers with winning solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and implement new business strategies and tactics
- Develop new leads through targeting, researching and calling
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to close
- Partner with agency discipline leads during pitch and client on-boarding
- Represent agency at networking events
- Excellent writing, oral communications and presentation skills
- Positive and energetic self-starter and team player who's able to work in a fast paced environment
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in business or related field
- 8 years of progressive experience selling digital services solutions to mid-tier and Fortune 250 companies
- Worked at a digital agency or consultancy selling sell digital product design and marketing solutions
This role is full-time, on-site in our Atlanta office. Compensation includes salary and benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience and skill level.
