Mister Art, a subsidiary of Macquarium is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator/Desktop Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:
As a key member of a highly integrated and multidisciplinary team in a small business environment, responsibilities will range from mission-critical to mundane. One minute, you'll be Superman, saving the day with a complex, high-level Linux System operation, the next you'll be Clark Kent, asked to perform a routine Desktop Support task. The right person for this job will understand that all of these functions are critical to keeping things running smoothly, and respond with an awareness that every team member's request is important.
  • Perform daily system monitoring
  • Verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
  • Conduct daily back up operations ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or a similar role
  • Experience with installation and proper configuration of network appliances including routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Linux servers and Mac/Windows desktops
  • Knowledge of virtualization technology including VMware and Virtualbox
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL/Postgres
  • Working knowledge of backup and recovery software and procedures
  • Desktop and mobile troubleshooting and support
  • Strong attention to detail, resourcefulness, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Phone systems and POS a plus

This role is full-time, on-site in our Montrose District office. Compensation includes salary and benefits package.
Salary is commensurate with experience and skill level.
