Over the past 25 years, we have partnered with Fortune 250 companies to create differentiated web, mobile, e-commerce and in-store self-service experiences. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will need to have the dedication and desire to implement an effective sales strategy.
 
The successful candidate has experience selling digital product design and marketing services. You’ll need to be well networked and have a proven track record of generating new business through effective marketing and prospecting techniques in the Atlanta market/Southeast region. This hunter role will identify and engage prospects through a consultative sales approach and work with our team to present clients and potential clients with winning solutions.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement new business strategies and tactics
- Develop new leads through targeting, researching and calling
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to close
- Partner with agency discipline leads during pitch and client on-boarding
- Represent Macquarium at networking events
- Communicate clearly through excellent writing, oral and presentation skills
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; track individual contributors and their accomplishments
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discover and explore opportunities.
 
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in business or related field
- 5 years + prior progressive experience working at a digital agency or consultancy selling digital product design and marketing solutions and a deep network of contacts
- Proficiency in HubSpot is a plus
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of the digital, UX and CX industry and current events
 
This role is full-time, on-site in our Atlanta office. Compensation includes salary and benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience and skill level.
