We are currently looking for a Customer Engagement Manager.  Reporting to our VP of Sales, the right candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong team orientation, while being able to diligently work independently. You will have an excellent capability to prospect, embrace the phone, and be highly organized.
                          
You’re perfect for this role if you can:
  • Create relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Become a subject matter expert about Macquarium’s offerings, the competitive landscape and how to differentiate us
  • Manage lead generation and lead assignments through HubSpot
  • Manage the sales pipeline, and forecasting to achieve continuous profitable sales growth
  • Manage the proposal development, submission and contracting process
  • Update and refine marketing and sales strategies
  • Work collaboratively with internal marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategies
  • Stay current on news, issues, and changes within the industry
  • Attend and participate in networking events
  • Coordinate activities with upper management
 
Your qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in inside sales, including superior communication skills and exceptional closing skills
  • Proven experience building relationships with and managing professional level business clients
  • Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with current technologies within a business environment
  • Must be comfortable interacting with C-Level management
  • Familiar with the needs and structure of marketing agencies
  • Experience and comfort with working autonomously (must be a self-starter!) as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • A strong relationship-oriented person that enjoys meeting new people
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment

  • Four-year college degree
  • High comfort level with the Internet and technology in general
  • A think-outside-the-box mentality
  • 2-3 years BD sales or lead generation experience
